The Gibson Cocktail

"Any drink traditionally accompanied by a bit of fruit or vegetable is worth trying with a spot of juice thrown in as well"
 - Kingsley Amis

My co-workers think I'm sick but I love cocktail onions. It is the most underrated garnish. I find that the best way to make a Gibson is to throw in a couple dashes of onion juice. Not to much but just enough to have a the tiny sweetness of onion juice hit the back of your tongue at every sip. It shouldn't be to overwhelming but just a slight. Enjoy!

  1. Just found your blog--classy. Can't say I'm a fan of cocktail onions, but hey, to each their own.
