These drinks have a reputation of getting you fucked up quickly. Don't get me wrong, they will get you fucked up and fast. Most recipes (and depending on the bartender and how loose he is with his count) have about 2 1/2 ounces to 3 ounces of alcohol which is a lot but is the same amount as a stranded martini. But what really gets you drunk is the mixing of completely different types of booze. These are easy and fun to drink, and will get you drunk.<br />
<br />
The three drinks consist of 4 different types of alcohol:<br />

Vodka<br />
Rum<br />
Gin<br />
Triple Sec<br />
<br />
The Long Island has Tequila and the others no not. The tequila is substituted with a liqueur.<br />
<br />
<b>Long Island Iced Tea</b><br />
The Long Island is the most popular of the three and the original. Though normally known as a club drink it is perfectly acceptable to order one at a four star restaurant since it is considered a classic cocktail. The original recipe has and always will have tequila. Don't let anyone tell you other wise. The sweet and sour takes away most of the alcohol taste but it will still be there, trust me. It's a pretty tasty drink and the coke works nice as well.<br />
<br />
1/2 oz. Vodka<br />
1/2 oz. Rum<br />
1/2 oz. Gin<br />
1/2 oz. Triple Sec<br />
1/2 oz. Tequila<br />

Let me just say how fucking awesome sushi places<i> </i>are. Alot of people don't know but most sushi places have a happy hour. Usually on a Monday or Tuesday. The general happy hour is around $2 for a 24oz of Japanese beer and around $2 for a large hot sake, which will give you around four or five shots.<br />
<br />
Sushi rolls themselves can be pretty expensive but you didn't come here to eat, you came here to drink and get drunk on <b>Sake Bombs.</b><br />

Ask for a large beer, most likely you'll get<b> Sapporo</b>, which I think is a fine Japanese beer and a hot sake. Pour a beer into a mug about 1/3 and pour yourself a shot and place the shot on top of the beer mug with the chopsticks. Look at the picture below. Then slam your fist on on the table so the shot drops into the mug and then chug.<br />
<br />
A lot of people find Sake Bombs hard to take down but I think they're great. And the best part of the sake is the drunk you get. After your 3rd Sake Bomb your wondering why you aren't drunk yet and then all of a sudden it creeps up on you. You face gets red and warm and all of a sudden your wasted and feeling great. Whats also great about it is that the drunkness seems to go away after an hour or so. Its hard to describe, you need to try it for yourself.<br />

My friends and I usually run a tab up to around $40 for 4 people at the end of the night. Enjoy!<br />

</div><div>Shake ingredients over ice but before you strain into a martini glass; coat the glass with a strong single malt scotch. I use <b>Caol Ila </b>for mine. To coat the glass: pour about a tsp of your scotch into the glass and shake it around over a sink. Try to get every inch of the glass coated. Pour the remaining scotch out, you should be left with a nicely coated glass with a tiny dash of scotch laying on the bottom. Now strain your Manhattan into the glass and garnish with a cherry.</div><div><br />
</div><div>The scotch will add a smokiness to the sweet whiskey drink which go very well together. My co-workers think I'm sick but I love cocktail onions. It is the most underrated garnish. I find that the best way to make a <b>Gibson</b> is to throw in a couple dashes of onion juice. It's rough, smells like wood remover, taste like fuel, and burns your throat, right? I felt the same way, but learned a great way to taste, appreciate and sip these fine spirits. I find the drunk to be much different than other liquors. It is cozy, and euphoric, plus you get this incredible warm sensation that takes over your whole body. There is a reason why you don't see anyone drinking whiskey at a hot dance filled club. It is best served while on a cozy chair by a fireplace, or after a spectacular fine meal.<br />

Although the term "Whiskey" is broad as hell and has a dozens different categories and hundreds of different brands you will ask yourself where to begin. Start with the brand names you've heard of them. They are brand names for a reason cause they are popular, been around for hundreds of years, and fucking good. Fill a rocks glass 1/3 with your drink of choice. Take a good whiff. At first it will smell like spicy wood. If you can't take the smell try and toughen up and smell it a again.<br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;">3)Take a Sip</span><br />
And hold it in your mouth at the tip of your tongue. It shouldn't have hit your taste buds so you shouldn't be gagging yet. Now slowly let it explore your mouth and tongue. Try and move past the smokey wood and find notes of vanilla, tobacco, sweetness. The slower you go the easier it will be for it to be in your mouth.<br />
